zucchini flowers

I love eating zucchini batter fried zucchini flowers. My favourite summer time savoury treat. I make a batter mixture of flour, garlic salt, pepper, and whatever cheese that I have lying around. I threw in of the herbs I was growing in the herb boxes; chives, and basil. Coated the flowers and then fried them in olive oil on medium heat until golden brown.
